IMPORTANT: Please note that entry in to the theatre will not be granted without a valid ticket; i.e. tickets must be printed out or presented on a mobile phone of tablet. We are able to print tickets to be posted or collected from the box office for an admin fee (see below). The Brookside Theatre is unable to offer wheelchair spaces at the current time. Booking Online Click the WHAT’S ON link to view the shows available, choose the show you would like to see, then click 'Book Online'. Our internet sales service is available 24 hours a day via our secure site. All internet sales are bound by the terms and conditions of sale. If you have any difficulties, or would like assistance, with your online booking please contact us on 01708 755775. Visa Credit / Debit, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express are accepted for internet bookings. By telephone The box office telephone number is 01708 755775. The box office is open for telephone bookings from 2.00pm - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and up to performance times on show days. A 24-hour answerphone is in operation so if calling outside of the aforementioned hours, please leave a short message, name and contact number and one of our representatives will contact you. Please note that the box office is ONLY open for booking in person 1 hour before a performance - please check our WHAT’S ON page for performance dates and times to check when this service is available. On performance days the box office will be open and remain so until the stated start time for patrons wishing to purchase tickets on the door although we do recommend advanced booking where possible. When booking in person you have two delivery options available: > E-tickets [FREE] > Collection from the box office at the event [£1.50] Conditions of Sale Tickets booked for events at the Brookside Theatre are subject to the following conditions of sale: Tickets are not to be re-sold. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission. The Management reserves the right to amend or alter the programme as necessary as a result of unforeseen circumstances. Latecomers may be refused admission or asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance before being admitted to the auditorium. All attendees will be subject to, and should be made be aware of, our House Rules. In respect to group bookings, the person responsible for said booking will ensure that the House Rules are acknowledged and adhered to by all members of their party. Failure to do so may result in the entire group/party being refused entry or asked to leave. Safety and enjoyment The Brookside Theatre reserves the right to refuse admission and may request any ticket holder to leave (taking any such appropriate action which may be necessary to enforce this right) before, during or after a performance if it considers it to be necessary or desirable to do so. The theatre may also, on certain occasions, conduct security searches to ensure the safety of its patrons. Any person who declines to do so may be refused entry. Photography, film and audio recording of any kind is strictly prohibited, unless otherwise notified. Any devices used for such activity may be confiscated at the ticket holder’s own risk. Latecomers may be refused admission or asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance before being admitted to the auditorium. The Brookside Theatre is a no smoking venue. No alcohol may be consumed or brought on to the premises under any circumstances. Anyone found to be consuming alcohol will be asked to leave the building. Entry and re-entry are by ticket only. Food and drink from outside outlets may not be consumed in the venue. Verbal and/or physical aggression towards staff will result in refusal of entry or requirement to leave. Patrons are asked to refrain from prohibited behaviour in the venue. This can include: shouting, swearing, talking through the performance and any other behaviours which could, in the reasonable opinion of the Management, constitute a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to other customers and/or staff. Mobile phones and other electronic equipment must be silenced before entering the auditorium. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in to the theatre unless stated on the event listing. At no time do we allow children to be seated on an adult’s lap or babes in arms. All persons aged under 16 must be accompanied and sat next to the accompanying adult. They may not sit on their own within the auditorium and if found to have separate seats, entry may be refused. The Brookside Theatre and any third parties authorised by the theatre may carry out general filming and sound recording in or about the venue. By purchasing tickets, you consent to you and your party being included in and to the commercial exploitation of such films and recordings without payment. Please note that strobe lighting, smoke effects and gunshots are sometimes used in productions. Should you experience any problem while visiting the Brookside Theatre, please ask any member of staff to alert the Duty Manager so that every effort can be made to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Cancellation, returns and refunds Tickets are non-refundable except as expressly set out as below, i.e. once tickets have been purchased money cannot be refunded. You may exchange tickets within the run of a production (i.e. exchange tickets from one date / time to another) up to 48 hours prior a performance, subject to an administration fee of £3.00 and subject to availability. It may be possible to resell your ticket(s) up to 48 hours prior to a performance however we will only place returns on sale after all other tickets for the performance have been sold and can offer no guarantee. In the event that we are able to resell the ticket(s) we will deduct 10% of the total amount taken and issue a cheque or cash for the remaining balance. We reserve the right to make alterations to the advertised time, date, programme and cast as a result of circumstances beyond our control. If there is a material change to the content of the performance or the performance is cancelled, you may exchange your ticket(s) for an alternative performance of the same production up to the value of your ticket(s) (subject to availability). For the avoidance of doubt, we will not refund the cost of any other expenses incurred by you in connection with your theatre visit or that would be deemed a side effect of the main loss or damage, including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation expenses. Data Protection Under the Data Protection Act and the Privacy Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. Personal data you give will be used exclusively for providing you with the information or service that you have requested. Once you have booked tickets with Brookside Theatre box office your details will be held on our database. From time to time we may send you information about Brookside Theatre and its programme of events. If you do not wish to receive this information, please tell us by sending an email . We do not pass any of your personal data to outside organisations and / or individuals.
