The Brookside Theatre is a  non-profit organisation and all events are  staged to raise money for the Romford War  Memorial Social Club (Reg. Charity No.  206748)
As   Essex   and   the   South   East's      premier   musical   theatre   group,   the   Brookside   Theatre   Company   set the    highest    artistic    standards,    bringing    the    powerful    experience    of    musical    theatre    to    the community.   The   Brookside   Theatre   Company   was   formed   in   2012   with   the   aim   to   bring   top   quality   theatre productions   to   the   Brookside   Theatre’s   stage   and   to   involve   local   performers   in   exciting   new musicals   from   aspiring   international   composers   and   lyricists   as   well   as   established   modern   and classic productions. The   company,   headed   by   the   theatre’s   artistic   team,   Jai   and   Harri   Sepple,   staged   their   first   musical, Shout   The   Mod   Musical   in   May   2012   which   marked   the   opening   of   the   Brookside   Theatre   itself and,   since   then,   is   proud   to   have   presented   a   variety   of   shows   including   Avenue   Q,   The   Addams Family   Musical,   The   Woman   In   Black   &   Frankenstein   The   Musical.   Further   information   about   the group’s past productions can be found on the PAST PRODUCTIONS  page. Since   the   group's   formation,   this   high-energy   company   have   had   three   main   objectives.   Firstly   to combine   the   distinguished   and   unique   talents   of   the   finest   ensemble   of   local   singers,   dancers, actors    and    musicians;    secondly    to    maintain    their    reputation    for    artistic    excellence,    keeping performing   arts   alive   and   attainable   for   everyone   and   finally,   to   raise   money   for   a   variety   of   local and   national   charities   which   have   included   the   Meningitis   Trust,   First   Step   Children’s   Charity   and, predominantly, to support the continued restoration of the Romford War Memorial’s buildings. Always   looking   to   the   future,   we   are   constantly   seeking   new   ideas,   new   events   and   indeed,   new members   -   building   on   our   long-established   tradition   and   remaining   at   the   pinnacle   of   community entertainment and arts in Romford & the South East.
