Prior to each performance your advertisement can be seen by our patrons on our large screen in the theatre foyer (27"w x 15"d) - also shown during the interval and after each event - and on our impressive projection screen in the auditorium (12' 2"w x 7' 5"d / 2000 pixels x 1200 pixels). On-Screen Advertising is automatically started on both screens an hour before each live performance, as soon as the theatre opens to the public. The Brookside Theatre auditorium seats 140 people and plays, on average, 20 performances per month (1200 minutes of screen advertising), this number increases over busier performance schedules. The slide show includes a maximum of 20 advertisements to ensure high viewership. Each image is on screen for 30 seconds at time and circulates an average of 6 times per 1 hour sequence. With a captive audience, these tend to stimulate conversation among audiences before the start of any performance. ADVERTISING RATES (All prices inc. VAT.) The rate for On-screen Advertising is £150 per month or £300 for three months, this includes images on both screen for all events throughout the specified period. The cost for a full year’s advertising is reduced considerably to £550. This service will incur an additional cost of £30 per advertisement. We will work on your artwork and e-mail you a design for approval within two weeks. If providing your own artwork, please ensure that your advertisement is supplied camera-ready in the exact dimensions specified. All supplied artwork must be compatible with Adobe Photoshop; PDF, JPG, TIFF, or PSD are preferred formats, with a minimum resolution of 300dpi and Bleed Pages (for full page advertisements only) require a minimum of a 5mm bleed on all sides of page size. With regards to On-Screen Advertising it is important to think about your design carefully and ensure that the message registers quickly. We recommend that you keep text to a minimum for maximum impact. We also suggest that no font is used smaller than 24pt and that text is not placed too close to the edge of the advertisement. Always use high resolution images and text in your design. It may look fine of a computer monitor but a low resolution design may become blurry on screen. Artwork should be emailed .
